Business Involvement Spotlight
Partner Profile: Station Casinos
Over the years, the Clark County School District has cultivated and been the beneficiary of robust partnerships with businesses and nonprofits.
This year marked the 18th anniversary of Smart Start, which is a partnership between Station Casinos, Clark County School District and The Public Education Foundation.
Eleven high-need partner elementary schools received $10,000 each to apply toward their school improvement/achievement goals. In addition, Station Casinos employees volunteer their time in classrooms/schools, lead back-to-school supply drives, hold teacher appreciation events, and provide incentives to students and staff throughout the year.
Station Casinos has donated more than $2.8 million to Smart Start schools since the program’s inception.
