The CCSD Community Engagement team seeks to engage with our community and build connections with external partners in order to increase support for our students, staff, and schools, while supporting the goals of the Districtβs Strategic Plan.

The Engagement & Events office strives to showcase and support the success of students, staff, and CCSD as a whole by coordinating district-wide events and providing direct support to students in the Indian Education Opportunities Program, Safe Routes to Schools, and the Academic Support and Community Service Center.
FAMILY ENGAGEMENT
Students thrive when their families are engaged. The Family Engagement department provides all CCSD families with valuable learning opportunities to support student success.
TEAM ENGAGEMENT
The mission of the Team Engagement office is to strengthen communication, customer service, and employee recognition programs to enhance school climate throughout the District.
FAMILY SUPPORT CENTER
The CCSD Family Support Center provides support to students and families through information, education, and community resources. Our aim is to aid student success by addressing studentsβ social, physiological, emotional, and linguistic needs.
In a week dedicated to celebrating the power of reading, itβs only fitting to spotlight a librarian. Ms. Dorothea Scholer of Beckley Elementary is attending tonightβs Vegas Golden Knights game and taking a ride on the Zamboni after receiving the Kutner Cares Community Champion Award earlier this week. Thank you for inspiring our students to discover a lifelong love of reading. Enjoy the game, Ms. Scholer!

A morning of surprises for Mrs. Lori Diaz and her Media Production class! After being nominated for the FOX5 Surprise Squad, the class learned their studio will receive a much-needed makeover thanks to the Las Vegas Raiders. Raiders defensive tackle Tonka Hemingway shared the news in person, signed footballs for students, and answered questions about life in the NFL. Mrs. Diaz was also surprised with $2,000 from America First Credit Union and United Nissan.

From diving into Flag Football tournaments to mastering the basics of Rugby, these athletes brought the heat. Huge shoutout to the Las Vegas Raiders for co-sponsoring this event and for hooking everyone up with a new t-shirtπ
And the MVP of the day? 2Tβs Poly Kitchen. ππ₯ When we needed a hand, they stepped up at the last minute to serve over 400 BBQ chicken lunches. Local legends doing legendary things!
