COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT
The CCSD Community Engagement team seeks to engage with our community and build connections with external partners in order to increase support for our students, staff, and schools, while supporting the goals of the Districtβs Strategic Plan.

The Engagement & Events office strives to showcase and support the success of students, staff, and CCSD as a whole by coordinating district-wide events and providing direct support to students in the Indian Education Opportunities Program, Safe Routes to Schools, and the Academic Support and Community Service Center.
FAMILY ENGAGEMENT
Students thrive when their families are engaged. The Family Engagement department provides all CCSD families with valuable learning opportunities to support student success.
TEAM ENGAGEMENT
The mission of the Team Engagement office is to strengthen communication, customer service, and employee recognition programs to enhance school climate throughout the District.
FAMILY SUPPORT CENTER
The CCSD Family Support Center provides support to students and families through information, education, and community resources. Our aim is to aid student success by addressing studentsβ social, physiological, emotional, and linguistic needs.
This week, we celebrated IT Professionals Day, and we want to thank all our hard-working IT professionals throughout the @clarkcountysch who keep us connected and secure!
We visited West Prep Academy, our CCSD Flamingo Campus, Bailey Middle School @millerbobcats, and Clark High School @edwclarkhs to surprise some exemplary IT professionals who go above and beyond for our students and employees. Big thanks to you all for your commitment to excellent customer service and problem-solving!

Big recognition for two outstanding CCSD educators! Nathaniel Linn of Mendoza Elementary and Holly Chidester of Sunrise Acres Elementary have been named UNLV Teachers of the Game!
Each honoree will receive $1,500 in DonorsChoose funds to support their classroom and will be celebrated on the field at Allegiant Stadium during UNLV football games next month.
We are proud to celebrate educators who make a difference every day. Congratulations, Nathaniel and Holly! We will be cheering you on!

Big recognition for two outstanding CCSD educators! Nathaniel Linn of Mendoza Elementary and Holly Chidester of Sunrise Acres Elementary have been named UNLV Teachers of the Game!

Today, CCSD bus drivers at the Northwest Transportation Facility were surprised with a sweet treat from our community partner, Nothing Bundt Cakes Centennial Hills. We appreciate our transportation staff for keeping our students safe on the way to and from school every day! Big thanks to Nothing Bundt Cakes Centennial Hills for helping spread the joy to our staff!

CCSD took over the Las Vegas Ballpark for a night of baseball, school spirit, and fun!
Superintendent Jhone Ebert joined employees and families in support of the event, while Dr. Jesse Welsh got the evening started with the first pitch. Ober Elementary choir students also helped set the tone by performing the National Anthem, and CCSD employees showed their District pride in custom co-branded shirts.
Thank you to everyone who came out and to the Las Vegas Aviators for making CCSD Night a great experience!

Thanks to the support of the College Football Playoff Foundation (CFPF), we recognized 5 exemplary teachers with $1,000 DonorsChoose certificates and surprised 4 schools with school makeover sponsorships worth $50,000 each. We also celebrated the ribbon-cutting of Lummis Elementaryβs newly renovated library, all thanks to the generous sponsorships of the CFPF and School Specialty. As a special bonus, Chicka Chicka Boom Boom author, John Archambault, joined the Lummis event by signing books for our students.
