The Engagement & Events office strives to showcase and support the success of students, staff, and CCSD as a whole by coordinating district-wide events and providing direct support to students in the Indian Education Opportunities Program, Safe Routes to Schools, and the Academic Support and Community Service Center.
Something to truly rave about! Out of nearly 600 submissions, Ms. Leslie Gonzalez, fifth grade teacher at Tarr Elementary, earned the top nomination and was recognized as this month’s winner. Congratulations, and thank you for all you do for your students and the entire school community!

Ms. Hillary Zeune Desoto of Fertitta Middle School took the field at Allegiant Stadium on Saturday, where she was honored as the Teacher of the Game! In addition to this recognition, she received a $500 award courtesy of our partners @westcoasttriallawyers. Congratulations to Ms. Zeune Desoto, and thank you for representing CCSD with such pride and positivity.

Both were named Kutner Cares Community Champions, earning tickets and an unforgettable on-ice experience. Congratulations, and thank you to @askadamkutner for celebrating the dedication of our educators!
