COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT
The CCSD Community Engagement team seeks to engage with our community and build connections with external partners in order to increase support for our students, staff, and schools, while supporting the goals of the District’s Strategic Plan.

The Engagement & Events office strives to showcase and support the success of students, staff, and CCSD as a whole by coordinating district-wide events and providing direct support to students in the Indian Education Opportunities Program, Safe Routes to Schools, and the Academic Support and Community Service Center.
FAMILY ENGAGEMENT
Students thrive when their families are engaged. The Family Engagement department provides all CCSD families with valuable learning opportunities to support student success.
TEAM ENGAGEMENT
The mission of the Team Engagement office is to strengthen communication, customer service, and employee recognition programs to enhance school climate throughout the District.
FAMILY SUPPORT CENTER
The CCSD Family Support Center provides support to students and families through information, education, and community resources. Our aim is to aid student success by addressing students’ social, physiological, emotional, and linguistic needs.
In partnership with Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers, Las Vegas Pro Kicker Daniel Carlson, and the Las Vegas Review-Journal, the CCSD Partnership Office teamed up to host the “Kickin’ for Chicken Monday” Program. On Mondays, from September 15 through December 29, Raising Cane’s will donate 15% of net sales at any local Raising Cane’s to selected CCSD Title I schools.
On the 4th Day of Recognition, Robert O. Gibson Leadership Academy was selected to receive the first donation check. The donation will fund sports-related needs such as uniform replacements for five of their sports programs.

Dream BIG Athltx celebrated their 10th year partnering with Toys for Tots charities and continued their tradition of giving back to local families within @clarkcountysch by hosting a free holiday toy distribution at Quannah McCall Elementary School @qmccallnlv. At the toy drive, 246 students received a toy of their choosing. Thank you for a magical day for our students! #DestinationDistrict #WeAreCCSD @toys_for_tots_las_vegas @dreambigathltx

In partnership with the National Rugby League (NRL), the CCSD Partnership Office hosted a school tour to visit 17 @clarkcountysch elementary, middle, and high schools during the week of December 1-5, 2025. The NRL facilitated all-day, touch rugby clinics to showcase their sport and teach the game to students and staff. The NRL will also donate equipment to each school and provide instruction and curriculum support for the physical education teachers. #DestinationDistrict @nrl @clarkhighschool #WeAreCCSD
