Today marks the final Clark County School District Book Bus stop of the school year! 📚🚌✨
Throughout the year, the Book Bus traveled to elementary schools across the District, putting free books directly into the hands of students and helping inspire a lifelong love of reading. Literacy opens doors, sparks imagination, and builds the foundation for future success and we are proud to help make books accessible to our students.
A huge THANK YOU to our incredible sponsors: Findlay Subaru of Las Vegas @subaru_lv, @Athletics Baseball Team, and Jason`s Deli @jasonsdeli for helping make this program possible. Your support made a lasting impact on thousands of young readers across CCSD. ❤️

To kick off our celebrations, the A’s recognized 5 exemplary educators with a surprise visit and special summer experience, providing each with four tickets to attend the A’s “Las Vegas Series” in June. The FOX5 Surprise Squad also joined in on the surprise by gifting each teacher with a $1,000 cash award.

Under his leadership, the school rose from a two to a four star rating, reflecting a strong commitment to student success. As a proud UNR alumnus, it was especially meaningful to recognize him alongside UNR Provost Jeff Thompson. Congratulations, Principal West!

In addition to preparing and serving delicious meals, these individuals create welcoming spaces, build meaningful connections, and brighten students’ days through small moments of care and kindness.
Each honoree received a certificate, a gift card courtesy of Silver State Schools Credit Union, and a sweet treat courtesy of Nothing Bundt Cakes.
