We proudly recognized four outstanding educators with the Las Vegas Desert Dogs Teacher of the Game Award. Each honoree received tickets to an upcoming home game, on-field recognition, a custom jersey, a $100 gift card, and a two-night stay at the Rio Hotel and Casino.

It was a beautiful day to kick off the inaugural Vegas Golden Knights Learn to Skate Program!!! ⛸️⛸️⛸️
Thanks to the VGK Foundation @vgkfoundation, thousands of middle school students @clarkcountysch will be able to learn how to skate this spring. Most of our students who attended today’s field trips to the America First Center Arena and City National Arena had never skated before, and they had an amazing time!

As the founder and adviser of The Grizzly Growler and a leader in dual enrollment journalism, Ms. Verderosa connects high school students to college level learning while empowering them to tell meaningful, inclusive stories. Her work exemplifies excellence in education and student opportunity.

Lawrence Junior High School proudly hosted the Amazing Shake 6–7 Music Festival, bringing together over 170 incredible middle school students from 17 schools for a high-energy, real-world competition inspired by the Ron Clark Academy. 🎶✨
With this year’s Music Festival theme, students showcased their 🎙️ communication, 💪 confidence, 🌟 leadership, and 🤝 professional etiquette through fast-paced challenges designed to prepare them for real-world success.
