Service Year Recognitions
The Service Year Recognition program has been revitalized with redesigned pins and certificates to commemorate those who have achieved career milestones. Awards begin at the 10 year mark and progress up through 40 years (and beyond, if needed). The Team Engagement Department has collaborated with the Human Resources Department to generate a monthly (instead of yearly) report of all staff milestones. As of December 2022, staff receive their Service Awards in the same month that they reach their milestone. The improvement in the timeliness of these awards has made this program significantly more meaningful to recipients. Awards are no longer sent to the individual’s school mailbox. Instead, they are sent to the site administrator so that their tenure may be recognized in the presence of their peers (at the administrator’s discretion).
Individuals with questions regarding missed service milestone certificates and pins should email teamengagement@nv.ccsd.net with their name, years of service and hire date.
