Established as an opportunity to recognize the generosity and impact of local community groups, the Engagement Unit excitedly announced Spread the Word Nevada as the Engaged in Excellence Partner of the Month. Their commitment to literacy is evident through their distribution of more than 70 million books to students. During Nevada Reading Week, Spread the Word Nevada handed out new books to all Tom Williams Elementary School students.
