Employee Recognition Partnership Programs
A+ Educators was created in partnership with FOX5, Silver State Schools Credit Union, and its People Over Profit Foundation to recognize and award outstanding CCSD educators. Twice a month, Team Engagement surprise visits an A+ Educator and highlights the incredible work they’ve done in and out of the classroom. Each educator is awarded $500 for themselves, $500 for their school, and is highlighted on the news. View the stories from past winners HERE.
Teacher of the Game Program
The Las Vegas Desert Dogs professional indoor box lacrosse team and Subaru of Las Vegas, recognize teachers at all home games. Each winning teacher receives $1,000 for their classroom, VIP tickets to the Desert Dogs game, customized jersey, plaque, and recognition at the game. A total of 15 teachers were recognized at every home game during the 22-23 season. Over 1,000 free tickets were provided to all staff at each Teacher of the Game’s schools.
CCSD Day with UNLV Athletics
UNLV athletics nominated a teacher for the College Football Playoff Foundation “Extra Yard for Teachers” award. The teacher was awarded $5,000 for his classroom, tickets to the game, and on-field recognition. UNLV Athletics also provided discount tickets to all CCSD employees for the “CCSD Day” against North Texas. Employees who purchased tickets received a free t-shirt and on-field recognition at half-time.
UNR Excellence in Education
In partnership with the University of Nevada, The UNR Excellence in Education program recognized teachers who are exemplary UNR alumni or Dual Enrollment instructors within the Clark County School District. 10 CCSD employees received a gift basket, plaque, and UNR tickets (for UNLV home games against UNR) during surprise visits during the school year.

- RiSE Lantern Festival
- Exemplary employees had first access to 120 free tickets in Fall, 2022
- 10 free VIP tickets and 30 free General Admission tickets for our Educator of the Year Finalists and Winners (redeemable for the Fall, 2023 event).
- Shaq Gala
- 1,000 free tickets were offered to employees at schools that demonstrated the most academic growth based on the Nevada School Performance Framework.
- Aviators
- 600 free tickets were offered to employees at schools that demonstrated the most academic growth based on the Nevada School Performance Framework.
- UNR Football
- Free tickets were offered to all UNR dual enrollment teachers and faculty.
- 300 free tickets to the UNR vs. UNLV football game
- Henderson Silver Knights
- Exemplary employees had first access to 25 free tickets.
- Vegas Golden Knights
- 18 PE Teachers and a plus one received free suite tickets to the VGK game on 3/3/23.
- Teachers who successfully implemented the VGK floor hockey program into their curriculum were eligible to attend.
- UNLV
- Received 1,100 free tickets to a Lady Rebels basketball game.
- 300 free tickets to a volleyball game
- 750 free tickets to a Lady Rebels softball game
- 1,700 free tickets to a Rebels baseball game
