Our Goal
The goal of the Engagement Unit is to engage the entire community to support sustainable improvement in our schools by:
- increasing meaningful partnerships with businesses and the community
- building a positive culture throughout CCSD that translates into how we work with our community
- empowering families so they can best support their children’s academic and social-emotional progress.
COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT
The CCSD Community Engagement team seeks to engage with our community and build connections with external partners in order to increase support for our students, staff, and schools, while supporting the goals of the District’s Strategic Plan.

EVENTS
The Engagement & Events office strives to showcase and support the success of students, staff, and CCSD as a whole by coordinating district-wide events and providing direct support to students in the Indian Education Opportunities Program, Safe Routes to Schools, and the Academic Support and Community Service Center.
FAMILY ENGAGEMENT
Students thrive when their families are engaged. The Family Engagement department provides all CCSD families with valuable learning opportunities to support student success.
TEAM ENGAGEMENT
The mission of the Team Engagement office is to strengthen communication, customer service, and employee recognition programs to enhance school climate throughout the District.
